in a second lot. We've got a big
batch of Leeds Volunteers with us
- something like 150 - for a week's
training. You'd roar with laughing.
They have to do practice in everything
- mounting guard; bayonet fighting
etc - + as some are in civilian
clothes with stand up collars,
bowler hats etc, the result is
ludicrous in the extreme. Well,
lassie, I'm getting an expectant
feeling every day. ...The rest of the line is cut off
