My Dear Laddie,

Letter time again, well I'll

begin the news from last night. I met Amy

Sugitt Winnie Carr, and Annie Hanson. We

then proceeded to Amy's for the fish + chips

supper. I must say I enjoyed it; but coming

out to go home at 9:20 p.m I thought of our

old evening walks + then well - I feel sick

at the thought of you in France away from me.

Nothing will be the same until you return.

It appears Amy has come to live at Tollerton

near York - she is a very quiet sedate girl

and very lady like. She lives up Falsgrave

and on our return home we came pasted

Wykeham Street and I saw the house where

all the people were killed. I noticed the

Great Bear and Cassieopiea and longed

for old times. But we will do as you say

and have some more walks "And another

little walk won't do us any harm." How many

nights on Gadcastel Road have we watched
