Nov 23rd   Weather slightly better.  

Nov 24th   Arrived Milo 8:30am (Milo Island belonging to Greece a base of Allied Fleet.  Ships present were Hibernia, --?-- , Russell Staunch Fury Redpole Beagle Basilisk and several other destroyers Monitor Havelock mine layers, sweepers. and carriers. 6 French battleships and several French destroyers Russian Cruiser 2 Italian battleships)  Our Destroyers were told off two to each Battleship for provisions and anything we could get.  Russell being our --?-- ship invited us to a cinema show so we all trooped across to the Pictures. Rather good news when we got on board they were about to report us missing if we had not arrived that day. 

Nov 30th  Left Milo with Fury en route for Limnos. 

Dec 1st  Arrived  Limnos at 8am.  (Limnos an island 60 miles SW of the Dardanelles) joined up with 5th flotilla. Blenheim parent ship.  

Dec 2nd  Proceeded with Agamemnon and Fury. Comet and Fury acting as submarine screen. Arrived at Xecos at 11:15am.  Agamemnon commenced bombardment at Kavak Bridge, Turkish Forts returned most of their rounds falling short of Agamemnon but giving up a shaking up, but they obtained no hits, a little damage done to Agamemnon by shrapnel bursting between her funnels but no casualties, Monitor 09 giving Agamemnon a hand bombardment completed at 12:30pm.  e then proceeded to Limnos all the way down Gulf of Xecos Limnos as giving us a hearty welcome.  Signal made to Admiral commanding Allied Fleet from Agamemnon. Kavak Bridge completely destroyed the centre arches and centre pillar and the three spans absolutely blotted out, left approaches and roads seriously damaged and useless.  We arrived at Limnos at 7:35pm.

Dec 3rd  Left Limnos for Dardenelles arriving on patrol 3:40pm.  At about 9pm fired a few rounds into Turkish village of Kew Kale continued firing for about 15 minutes every 4 hours.  No reply from shore.

Dec 4th  At 6am three prisoners escaped from camp at  Suvla bay but were recaptured at 10am.  Turkish batteries opened fire at patrol but no damage.  Proceeded at 2pm to collect despatches from Destroyer on flank met Monitor 19. Her fore gun had exploded casualties 2 killed remainder of gun crew wounded. Returned to patrol at 5pm.  Patrolled off Sedull Bahr during the night. 

Dec 5th  Fleet bombarded enemies trenches, serious damage
