20.10.17 | No. 4 RAILWAY WOOD howitzer spur ready for use.
25.10.17 | No. 3. RAILWAY WOOD howitzer spur ready for use.

27.10.17 | Track at ZILLEBEKE LAKE siding ready for traffic

During the month the following casualties occurred.
262nd Coy. R.E. Captain HATCH, wounded, II LT BOXALL, killed, 1 OR killed, 6 Ors wounded
Attached Labour 1 killed, 17 wounded
In a collision at VLAMERTINGE on 19th, 7 men of the 262nd Cy R.E. and 70 of attached labour were injured.
During the month Sgt. WHITEHEAD received a D.C.M., Sgt DUKE a MM, and Corp. BIRCH a bar to his M.M.
