Dear Katie I hope your father & yourself are keeping in good
health, as I am going on very well. T. God. The weather here is
very good, but the duty is exceedingly long sometimes on
Ambulance watch from 12 midnight until 4 in the morning, which
is the only watch we dread. I have had the good luck to have it
about 8 times since I came here. Dear Katie I hope I shall
be soon home and we shall have a good time when this
business is over. So I will now close, with love to all
& thanking you again for cake. Give my love to all my old
friends & neighbors.
