About this period, it was
very dangerous while working
One day the hospital at
Ouderdom was struck by
a shell which smashed
a big hole in it. Another
day we passed a big
French long distance gun
which had been hit by
Fritz & it had got 6 or 7
Frenchies, all laid where
they were struck down.
no time to remove the bodies
