Dear Bess Thank for
letter I expect this will be my last
for some time as we are about to
sail the end of May the week
are or the begin of next look for
the 14th Division that is ours I
might see you if I get to
Turkey as I do not were we go yet
and shall not and I expect
I shall not be able to write much
I hope you all keep well I expect
their will be a good number of us
fall But its all for the Dear ones
at home so it will give us good
heart and I have been put in
a dangerous work But do not
say any think to them at home
must close now with best wishes John
