An official WW1 group of soldiers lined up outside wooden barrack buildings
Sepia photograph of men in military uniform standing in front of a wooden block house. Two rows: rear standing, front seated. Uniform comprises peak cap, coat, trousers and puttees, they are all wearing the cap badge of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.
The group includes Private Joseph Derbyshire, 23807, 9th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment who is on the left of the back row with a black cross above his head.
