  Last evening about 7-0 pm several members of the

  W.A.A.C.S. assaulted the guard at the front gate

  of the Army Camp in Bourges in a manner

  to horrible to be expressed . The girls it seems

  had been confined to barracks + the guard

  had been instructed to allow none of them to

  leave the camp. Several of the bolder + more

  hardened culprits desided to go out at any

  cost + when the defenceless guard endeavored

  to carry out his instructions the angry girls

  attacked him in a most malicious manner

  when the guard regained his senses, We

  dont say that he was at any time unconcious

  but he was at least dased the perpatrators

  of the ruffianly attack  ...  had dissapiared

  The guard says that he can idenify at

  least two of them as he has been watching
