  Down in that sweet scented ward we Waacs lay.

  Smiling, e'en when things went wrong

  Intent as ever on fun the next day

  Cares forgotten we landed with a song

   Kissing  our hands to dear Old England

  Wondering when we'd return there again

  And now our feet are on the new land

  Away we now fly, forgotten all pain

  Crying We're here to stand for England

  Show us how we can help our dear Land
