Travelled up the mountains by
motor car arriving in the line
at the top Wednesday March 27th
Although quite hot on the plains
very cold with about 1½ Ft. of
snow up here. (On the Asiago
Plateau). Left the mountains
April 26th 18. Arrived at
Castelgomberto Sunday April 28th
Left there may 15th arriving back
on Asiago Plateau May 17th
having marched all the way
up mountains.
June 15 18
Heavy bombardment on
both sides opened at 3 a.m.
