Went into Hospital (sick)
Dec. 21st 16. In hospital
26 days. Went to base
(Rouen) Awful time there.
Joined 101st Fld Coy. R.E.
at Ypres. Feb 26th 17
Left there next night.
Saw Ernie at Bussboom
while out on rest - about
May 2nd. Returned to Ypres
May 10th 17.
Large mines exploded artillery
opening fire at same time
101st in the "do". All objectives
captured with over 6,000 prisoners
at 9.10 a.m. June 7th 17
