as if the war will finish

Dear Mother.
I received
your kind and welcome
letter on Tuesday last also
order just as I was coming
out of the trenches. I expect
to be going in again on
Saturday. We expect something
big to come off very soon
so watch the papers. Dear
Mother when you are writing
again you need not send
