well. He was deported to

Wandsworth. I suppose Mrs.

Keyes is still travelling her 

rounds. Well it looks to us

as if the war will finish

in a month or two because

both sides are fed up.

Well I will now conclude

Hoping to hear from you

soon.

your kind and welcome

letter on Tuesday last also

order just as I was coming

out of the trenches. I expect

to be going in again on

Saturday. We expect something

big to come off very soon

so watch the papers. Dear

Mother when you are writing

again you need not send
