Dear Mrs Dawdry
I am very sorry to have to tell you
That your husband Sgt T Dawdry 5716 xi Hussars
died of wounds at 3pm on March 22nd.
Everything possible was done for him
he was buried in the cemetery near.
I do not know what his wounds
were, & can give you no address to
write to, as the Hospital was broken
up shortly afterwards.
