NOTICE - Recruits for Army or Militia.
Pamphlets showing the conditions and advantages of the Army or Militia are supplied gratis at every
Post Office.
Any man wishing to enlist into any arm of the service, should apply personally, or by letter, to the
Officer Commanding the Regimental District in which he resides. or to any Serjeant Instructor of Volunteers
or other Recruiter.

Re-enlistment in the Militia.
Men discharged from the Army with not less than three years' service in the Militia of
the County in which they reside on advantageous conditions, which will be communicated to the by the
Adjutant on application.

Civil Employment.
A Register for Civil employment is kept at all Regimental Depôts and Recruiting Districts, in which
are entered the names of men of good character discharged, or transferred to the Army Reserve.

Regimental Depôt or ay Recruiting Officer within one year of Discharge or transfer to the Reserve.
