I may be one of the bayonet men, thrower or else carrier, but I will know later on. I am in 10 Platoon 8th Batt, I was for 8 months in 10 Platoon in 144 so you see I have a habit of being put in 10 Platoon. No need to put platoon on my letters, C Company will be sufficient.
Many thanks for badges Aunt R. sent I have quite sufficient and in fact I have given some away & even then I have some in reserve.
No need to send paper or envelopes now but I would like to get an indelible pencil. I have a fountain pen but I think them more ornament than use here.
