My dearest mother,

              As you can see by the above address I am now with my battalion, I moved in here on Friday last and am located in C Company.

               I had been attached pro tem to an entrenching battalion which supplied men for odd jobs around but I am pleased now that I am where I belong.

               I think I told you in my last letter that I had a letter from Fip, as his address is uncertain I will write him to Deaforth & you can please forward it to him.
