Your Sunday Girl

Your Sunday Girl - how verily unique!

Another such one must go far to seek;

So loyal, tender-hearted, sweet and true,

So utterly above a chap like you;

So charming, spritely, yet when chid so meek

Ah! how, when 'neath the waxen moon you woo

The privilege to kiss her rosy cheek

You tremble lest another should bespeak

                     Your Sunday Girl

Then pity 'twas that with that glance

     oblique,

When paddling that fair cousin up that

     creek

You caught a glimpse, where yonder willow

     grew,

Of twining arms and heard a coo,

And twigged that she's another's all the

     week,                                      17.1.15
