  by the way I received the parcel

  allright and thank very much it

  came monday at tea time just

  in time you bet we enjoyed

  the salmon also cakes it was

  the best tea I have had since I

  landed in France. Tell father I

  thank him for it but I think

  it a lot to pay for them coming

  I should not send one every week

  for the cost is to much you have 

  enough to be keeping the house on

  hope father is improving in health

  The  Holland  wish  to be remember to

  you and we three are all together again.

  I begin to understand the French

  people abit now I have not got

  off with a French tart yet
