THE BATTLE OF BOURGES!

Twice each week, Mr. Bonnall of the YMCA

staff chaperones a party of fifty Bucks from the

Camp to the interesting and historic city of

Bourges. The ancient and beautiful Cathedral,

a relic of the twelfth century, is the main

attraction for the sightseers, but of course

there are other attractions. The Central

Records Bureau, the Central Postoffice and

several other A.E.F. institutions are located in

the city which also offers excellent shopping

opportunities and considerable entertainment.

When "Merc" started out on this trip, the

Art Ed told him to be sure and get something

on the W.A.A.C's in his sketches. "Merc"

reported the next morning, wearing a puzzled

expression: he laid down his sketches and

spake thusly: "Gee Whizz Ed, I looked all

over the blame burg but I could'nt find

anything that looked like WAX!!
