Quite a number of People have enquired how you have
gone on including Mr + Mrs Scott who spent the
afternoon + evening with us principally playing Bozigne
The Garden is claiming Quite a lot of attention
+ if you had been at home you would scarcely have
got clear

Dear Father + Mother + all
I have received my Khaki today which seems rather
strange to workans + not half as good We have to carry our Kit
up + down to the Barracks when we go on Parade which seems
to me as it we where to be Transferred to another unit or something
I have sent my clothes home to day which I hope you will receive
all right Hopig this finds you all in the Best of Health as
it leaves me
