From Capt Millner 24th Battn Lon Regt

                                               47th Division

                                                         30 / 5 / 15

Cherie,

Mande has left temporarily on account of

nervous breakdown. I have had to take on his job.

As you can readily imagine there is an enormous

amount of work to be done and for a few days, until

I have got a bit ahead with it, there will not be much

time for letter writting.

We are still resting and shall do so for some

little while yet, at any rate, we can do with it. I

wonder what the papers will have to say about our show!

You will know before I do.

I wish I could express my admiration for the

old Battalion: the regular Queen's are quite proud of us.

There are some of them near here.

Well Chèrie, farewell again for the present.

I have had all your letters but cannot yet carefully

into them all.

By the way, should you not require that

second £ 7.10.0 this month, keep the cheque and use it

next month.

                                                            Ever your own
