My Darling Mother
I have not received a letter
from home recently; but I trust that you
are all enjoying good health.
I received underclothing and flannels safely.
Thank you very much for sending same.
As I have mentioned before , my letters
resemble a catalogue of wants to be
satisfied so I may as well dispose of
that depressing feature at the outset.
Firstly, I want some Kolynos. In a recent
postcard I asked you to send me a
regulation tie and for a pair of black
boots which I believe I have at home. If
not, it does not matter.
