Two night sisters wander, in mud, rain or snow

And brave the wild winds that up there often blow.

They carry a storm lamp to lighten their way

As they visit huts thrice, ere the break of the day.

                           _____________

There's the B huts & Duts, with C in between,

And big bouncing Bertha's a sight to be seen.

But the best hut of all is a double D6

where some of the patients know how to play tricks,-

                           _____________

On the innocent? nurses who wait on their reeds,

And meekly protest at their mischievons deeds.

They make shovels to crawl & cushions to fly

Then calmly pretending to sleep, they all lie.

                           _____________

Of the things that take place in this hospital town,

T'would take a large book if all written down.

But I am no poet, or author of fame,

So I'll finish this now by signing my name.
