Cherie,
Is the Tempy Temporary 2/Lt Francis John Oatts who has
been awarded the military cross by any chance the
son of our old friend Chas Oatts?
We have been having great changes here. Do you
remember Tredenmick formerly adjt. of the 22nd.
He is now our Commandant and a very splendid one
too! Pace looks after the
bombingadministrationand I after the instruction. Everything is going strong
and this school is going to be a fine institution.
I hope your father manages to get a job but I
cant see just what sort of a job would suit him.
Everyone seems to think the war will be over
before long. I suppose the Boche Germans cannot hold the
Russians as well as the French and ourselves. I am
very surprised to hear A. L. Palmer is back in England
again. I had not heard he had gone. I wonder
on what grounds he got home.
Cadand is here doing a course. He is very
cheery.
There's no news so cheeryoh.
Yours Initials
I had a long letter from Aunt Tillie
Have sent £ 10 to Capital & Counties Bank.
