My Dear Mother

Sorry I have not written you before. You have been in my mind so much since I read your letter and nice card.

Well this outfit will be in London for the next 4 months and if I was to transfer I would be in Canada for 6 months before I go overseas so I am buying myself out of the Army and going back to The United States again so do not write until I write you. I will get my papers some time in Jan so I will write again
