Pasted to the right of the above is a newspaper clipping of a mean wearing a military cap with a mustache and long beard. The caption reads:

Grand-Admiral von Tirpitz, who

has the distinction of having given

the pirate flag by the German Navy.

He is now advising Kaiser to resist

German's democratic demands.

 Right page:

At top, newspaper clipping of the front and back of a medal. The left image shows men clamoring to get to a shop window manned by a skeleton. The right image shows a ship on an ocean.

Obverse and reverse of one of the medals struck to celebrate the sinking of Lusitania. These medals were

in eager demand by a people who delighted in the murderous exploits of their U-boats.

Below that, a newspaper article:

GOD SHAKING THE WORLD.

Address by Dr. Campbell Morgan.

     Dr. Campbell Morgan, the famous

preacher, delivered a deeply thought address

entitled "God and the shaking of the

World." on Saturday evening in the Pillar-room

of the  Cheldeaham  Town-hall  [ ]

the  [ ]  of the  kent  Y.M.C.A. Wilson

(Rector) presided, and also on the platform

were Cnin Cox (Christ Church), Rev. A.

A. Headly, and Mr. William C. Turner

(Y.M.C.A. secretary).

     The Chairman expressed great pride,

pleasure, and thankfulness at the honour of

presiding at a meeting at which Dr. Campbell

Morgan was to speak.

Dr. Campbell Morgan, in opening emphasized

that he approached the subject "God

and the shaking of the world," from the

standpoint of Biblical revelation and the outlook

of faith. The prophecy of Haegal. "I

will shake all nations." etc., was a declaration

that God would shake not only the

world, but the heavens also - not merely the

material order but the spiritual and inspirational,

which after all, expressed itself

in material order or disorder. The writer of

the Epistle to the Hebrews declared that

God shakes things that may be shaken that

may be ended: but He did so that things

that cannot be shaken may be manifested,

may come into clearer vision. God is  [ ]

enthroned; His throne has never been

 [ ] ; it has never  [ ] bled: He has never

[ ] the government of the affairs of

men.
