In lonely Hours  My memory

strays to Ireland dear + you

To all the haunts of Boyhood days

when young I traveled through

I see the grey old castle walls

those winding steps of stone

upon that hilltop far away

as I got here alone. I watched

the fox hunt from your crest

your walls now worn + gray

your green field just the

same as when we danced

the time away.

A ever dear old landmark

you stand there all alone

with not a care in this world

for you but to call the evil

home. you show us all the

grand old scenes you draw

them to your breast. That

dear old town of Limerick-

Then the golden west - The

Shannons silvery water shines

so near yet far away your

magic flower comes over the

sea + lingers here to day
