such is our luck when we have our health
its dearer than all the wealth we could own
It is my earnest wish once more to spend
a fiew good old nights around the cross
that is if only I remain single whilst in
this country and its a hard thing to do
however we got to live in hopes.
Now Jemmie I think I will come to a close
for this time as its late and I need a
fiew hours sleep once on a while so
I will say good bye and the best of
luck be yours always Dont be two hard
on the pubs I wished I had a good old
bottle of sandymans three star port now
this dam country is gone dry its all home
made liquor we sample. Remember me
to all at home when you write to them
in bothe houses. good night once more
with fondest love from your ever dear
old pal since childhood
