In conjunction with the potatoe
setting, Jackson + Richardson
worked diligently on the Bean
Peas etc. beds. And by the way
our crop of beans turned out to
be an excellent crop both in
size and quantity. We met a lot
of difficulties half way, even went
so far as to spray the beans one
Saturday at midnight in the
moonlight. Mr. Bergin having
got the loan of a whitewash
sprayer from Appelbys. There is
no doubt a lot of good was done by
spraying. Well we will step over
once more to the potatoe dept.
