This is to certify that No. 2448321
Private ASTERIADES, James., (D.C.M.) enlisted in the
1st Depot Battn. Eastern Ontario Regt. (Trans to 2nd Inf
Battalion) Canadian Expeditionary Force. at Kingston,
Ontario, on the 3rd day of November,1927; served in
CANADA ENGLAND FRANCE & BELGIUM; was returned to Canada
and struck off strength at Kingston, Ontario, on the
24th day of April,1919, in consequence of "DEMOBILIZATION".
His conduct and character while in the service were
"VERY GOOD".
Description of Discharge: Awarded the DISTINGUISHED
