A scrap of paper.

Its echoes reached our Empire's shores:

Help came from heart and hand,

A thousand swords from sheaths unsprang

To guard the Motherland.

  _________ ,, _________

Thus one word raised the battle cry,

That rang o’er land and sea;

But ’twas England’s word

of honour,

That word 'Neutrality"
