Dear Madam,  Stamp in green ink with date DIRECTOR OF GRAVES REGISTRATION 15 MAR 1919


      In reply to your letter, I have to say that

Private J.H. Mallett is reported as buried in Vendegies

Communal Cemetery, North of Le Cateau.

      If at a later date the officers of the Graves

Registration Unit in that area are able to locate the

grave, it will be registered, and information will be

sent to you at the first possible moment. 

      I am very sorry not to be able to send you a

more satisfactory reply.
