Description
This collection of cards mostly seem to have been written by William Windross who also signs as E.T.A.W. Some are to his sister Annie. He was the conbributor's husband's uncle and he was from Rawdon, near Leeds. Nothing is known about his war service but there are postcards in the album relating to the Balkans and Eqypt, as well as from ships he travelled on. He did survive the war and died in the 1950s.
