  been invalided home discharged from the army

  & from what I have seen does not look like

  improving the family fortunes. I have watched him

  for several weeks & I have come to the conclusion that 

  like Mr. Macawber he is waiting for something to

  turn up. I quite anticipate that when demobilisation 

  does we shall find ourselves faced with a 

  lot of new problems. Which one experience in the past

  has not qualified us to deal with. However this wont

  occur in your case. There is a place for you both at 

  home & the works & I don't care how soon you are back 

  to claim them.

  I will now leave this for the time being.
