  This reminds me you have never mentioned money 

  since you crossed - do you get your pay regularly or

  not, or do you draw on account. I think you mentioned

  some time ago you where unable to spend anything

  of this is so you should have a nice Balance somewhere

  will you  let me know how you are going on in

  regards your pay + also if you find the life pleasant

  I hardly expect you will be overworked although I 

  see you state you experience a difficulty in regard

  to coal + Blast which I do  not see how you can Allie

  I had A Hawksworth in last week home on leave

  from France he is in the vicinity of La Barsee + looked

  fairly well + cheerfull he is working He told me

  repairing Tools + similar Work for the Pioneers + says he

  only wishes the thing was finished although his work
