  at the same time present no difficulties

  I was delayed in sending the application for my Shop

  Foreman owing to the fact he had not advised

  me fully of his address etc + i am afraid that

  If I could have come across him at any time between

  Tuesday Morning + the receipt of his letter at

  noon on Thursday  something would have been

  said, I was able to make out a very good case

  to submit to the Minister of Munition I took out

  the whole of our turnover for 1915 + from Jan 1

  to the 22nd of May 1916. also the amount of work

  in hand on the date of application these I divided

  into the 3 Classes A.B. C + the amount of

  work done under class b was a very small

  percentage, I also wrote where possible

  asking for certificates for the work I had in hand

  The Bfd Electricity Works sent me 3 certificates

  class A the rest are Class B Leaving me with 

  only about L 4/0/0 value in orders under Class

  C, all this I included in my application & 

  although I have had so many disappointments

  over this matter I feel satisfied that this

  presents more prospects of success than any of

  our previous efforts further I feel sure I have the

  support of the Labor Exchange in this matter

  Still do not expect to much but hope for the

  best & if I do not succeed we can

  console ourselves with the thought that the

  best has been done possible in a difficult

  situation & what ever else you do do not take
