very glad. nice easy day.
Wrote to no. 2 E. B. D
no. 3 E. B. D & Bath
asking them to forward any
letters. Wrote Mrs Horne
tried to go to Sa on
Friday 10/5/18, but M. P.s
on duty wont allow us to
pass, it has been put
out of bounds. Tried to
get a pass to go to
meeting on Sunday, but
could not.
15/5/18, managed to get some
old Khaki so went to No. 2

reckoned they had sent me
three, since I wrote, went to
S. A. adjt.
gave
me some chor. stayed
supper.
16 May went to S. A. had a
nice evening chatting to
Capt. behing scenes. Helped
a bit, had supper, went
back & received first
letter for Six weeks &
three days. Far more than
delighted. 17 Friday morning
went to P 6 & got registered
posted last Friday with
p6 St. Today seems like
living in another world. Two
