  equipment, Rifles & etc. back
  

  about 3:35. Finaly every day
  

  went to 7 on out at night
  

  Unexpectedly got orders to
  

  pack up. Parade 2 - 15
  

  station at 4 left Ronem
  

  5 past 5 rode all night in trucks
  

  arrived Etaples 9:30 only had
  

  3 spent 1 1/2 on Sandwich at YMCA
  

  in station. Walbed round to
  

  Infantry Base to see if they
  

  had any letters of mine. but
  

  
  

  .Second page on the right

  got no satisfaction, saw
  

  several mend from the Pintz at
  

  West Hartlepool. Called at
  

  S. A. hut. they have opened
  

  anotehr hut since I was here
  

  before. There was a meeting
  

  on, but as a chap was waiting
  

  for me I did not stay. will
  

  go by myself if here to night.
  

  Corporal Bingham gave me
  

  half a Franc.
  

  Sat. 27. 5:30, Gas
  

  tests, went round to E. Infantry
  

  Base to see if any letters, but not
  

  luck. Saw swveral I know
  

  Sunday two light fatigues, went
  

  to S. A. hut. Band just ready for
  

  marching to other hut. I played
  

  cornet. A splendid meeting.
