  Soon we hope to be going to Blighty

    Later on, maybe - Back to the Front,

  Where again we may catch Influenza,

    Or perchance get a knock in a Stunt.

  Then to one of the fine C.C.S.'s

    And from there by the long khaki train

  We may journey to one of the Bases

    And arrive hereabouts once again.

  
  

  Now where would we choose to be landed

    If fated to get there alive? -

  There's only one possible answer,

    And that's  "WIMEREUX, Number 5."
