  Yes Annie its being a rather lonely Xmas

  for quite a lot of people, besides yourself.

  Im sorry poor little Baby had such trouble

  with her teeth but I hope she is over it 

  now. Dear Annie will you please drop a 

  note to my Father and say Im well and dont

  want anything and that I hope Ill see him soon.

  The weather here isnt too good either, snow and

  rain. Is Anna walking yet or can she talk

  atall. Ill be jolly glad when this war is ended

  Captivity Annie has cost me pretty dear. however

  regrets are useless.
