friends of our to there 40th 4 yrs ago & they

had some given to them as gifts from there

family & they were just so pretty, we have 

an invitation to some friends of ours for

there 50th Anniversary the 22nd of this month

March, so if the weather is good we will 

go all being well, this April Spencer & I will

have been married 58 yrs on the 26th it 

doesn't seem that long, another too will be

our 60th I would & have often said now we

have gone this far, I would like to be spared

to see it, but we will have to leave that

in (God's) hands. Well Janet, I told you

about Marianne Cochrane, taking a trip

to England with her girl friend in May,

well she is the daughter of our Reeve, you

call them Mayor of the town over there,

& her mother Beth was the one that gave

us all that nice clothes of Marianne that

we sent over to Ruth & Reg if you remember

we asked you to get her the Reading

"Coat of Arms" in a gold lockit & chain

which you did, & we sent you the money,

well you know she wears that so much,

& everyone that has seen it on her thinks

& admires it so much, so she feels she
