Description

Carte postale de la Haute-Alsace "Ca va mal. Où allons-nous ?" Il ne l'a jamais envoyée, mais a écrit derrière : "je pris une bonne prise" (= il a pris un soldat allemand dont il a gardé des objets) et parle de "bombardements formidables, gaz asphyxiant 4h matin et 2h midi", datée du 17/11/1917. Seule carte où le désarroi apparaît.

En Anglais:
postcard from Haute-Alsace "It's not good, where are we going?" He never sent it, but wrote behind: "I took a good catch" (= he took a German soldier from whom he kept objects) and speaks of "tremendous bombing, gas asphyxiant 4am morning and 2am noon" , dated 17/11/1917. Only card where the disarray appears.
