  Dear Miss Grant.

  your letter to hand. I am 

  very sorry to say I have 

  no photo of Herbert & I

  don't know any of the 

  boys who have. I only 

  came in contact with 

  Herbert about 8 months 

  ago, when he was sent 

  out with a draft to 

  reinforce us, but during 

  that time we were 

  pretty often to-gether, we 

  were the best of chums, 

  he was popular with 

  all the boys of the Section. 

  All the information I
