Dear Mother just a few lines to you in which I hope
you and all are well as it leaves me the same, I thought
I wasn't going to have anymore letters from you I
have had 2 letters from you since I came back so I
hope you will write a bit more as I thought there was
something wrong well Dear Mother you ask me what
I thought of Kate I think she is a very nice girl not like
that one over the road if you dont mind please dont
mention her to me again as I don't wish to hear about her.
Dear Mother I hope you won't forget the card on the
sixth of August as you know what that is don't you.
I wish to be remembered to Frank Hutchins tell him
I am still alive and kicking well Dear Mother I think
this is all the time with love to you and all
from your everloving Son
