My Dearest Nellie 25./8/18.
Just a P.C. this week Nellie dear hoping
you. baby. and all at home are in the pink as I am
glad to say that I am. to day I had your letter dated
27/5/18 also one from P. and A. Clare . you can just
imagine how pleased I am to hear from you dear and
all at home. so keep smiling Nellie and all will
come right in the end. and you will have me back
home again to love and tease you. my thoughts are
always with you. I shall be able to write a letter
next Sunday. glad you heard from Maudie so sorry
to hear about Peggys brother and poor old Percy Egerton
we have finished harvesting. and have started ploughing.
will say good bye for this time Nellie dear with all my
love and kisses to you and HM . Believe me always to remain
your ever loving loyal and affectionate
