Human brotherhood needed. Austria's demands
too severe - If the people of Austria were not too
warlike, the good would not have made such
violent appeal. If peace sentiments prevailed
in Austria as in U.S. no such
ultimatum would have been sent.
Hague treaties. If Austria + Serbia had
an general arbitration treaty
this would be settled by diplomacy
People not cry war but peace -
Cannot expect war to cease until world is
