As I explained in a previous communication
the Frank North who is here is not the
one you ask for. He is in the Duke of
Cornwall's Light Infantry and comes,
I believe, from England, not Dublin.
Beyond the fact that some officers here
met him at home, I am unable to find
out anything about him or what happened
to him. I am extremely sorry. I presume
he is missing. I would suggest writing
direct to the adjutant of his battalion and
the Red Cross Society of Geneva who are
in a position to make very complete
inquiries.
I trust that it will not be very long
before we meet again. My love, Dear
Mother to you, Lil and Charlie
Your Affectionate Son
Bob
P.S. Please ask Charlie to write.
